Sinkhole......What is it day 42, 43, 44 ????

So I ran out of smokes this morning and had to run to the local 7-11 to grab a pack and get a cup of Joe and what do I come across on my way there? Its the Freaking sinkhole on Lee street that was supposed to be finished after two weeks. I guess after they found the bridge under the pavement they must have found a troll below the pavement also...

Sinkhole, WTF

Lee Street near Rand and River in Des Plaines was closed Monday as workers continued repairing a caved-in portion of sidewalk and sewer lines underneath. A concrete bridge was discovered under the walkway, probably dating back to the turn of the century. See Wednesday's print editions of the Journal for more. (Tom Robb/The Journal)

Does anyone know what is underneath the sidewalks, roads, etc. in Des Plaines? Well I got an idea why don't they just build another condo or empty strip mall instead.

writers block

I have been more of a caption writer than I have been writing anything in this blog. Still haven't received my camera but been tracking it and should be getting it tomorrow. Been busy (luckily) as usual at work and regardless I made myself a promise to do a little more writing beside the usual things I post. So with the idea of writers block I'm posting the above picture to go with this.
